Terms and Conditions for Chapters in the
Annual Review
1. Introduction and Chapter Submission
Each sponsored chapter will feature a 250-word introduction about the sponsor, highlighting why the sponsor’s brand is well-positioned to author the chapter. Sponsors are invited to submit this introduction, but The STA Group reserves the right to edit the content to ensure consistency in tone and voice.
The main chapter should not exceed 1,000 words and must provide a fair, accurate, and comprehensive overview of the technology or trends in the agreed-upon sector. Sponsors are required to include:

– Major changes in the past year and the significance of these changes.
– Key influences emerging in the next 18 months and their likely impact.
– Any additional important insights.
– A list of jargon (excluded from word count) to be featured in the Jargon Buster section of The Review.
– The content must not be overly promotional about the sponsor’s brand or products, and it should reference key technologies within the sector, not just those from the sponsor.
– You are required to send a senior representative to attend in person and participate in the panel session at the launch event in London.
2. Content Standards and Liability
– The sponsor must ensure that all content submitted is of a high editorial standard, appropriate for an industry-leading publication.
– No references to third parties, directly or implied, can be derogatory or defamatory.
– The STA Group reserves the right to edit or amend the submitted content, without consulting the sponsor, unless the meaning or context of the observation is fundamentally changed.
– The STA Group reserves the right to reject or amend the content if it does not meet the publication’s standards or aligns with the broader vision of the Review.

– All submitted content will become the property of The STA Group. The STA Group has the perpetual right to use, reference, or promote the content within The Review and in any other relevant media or promotional material.
– The Executive Summary of The Review will be drafted by The STA Group, which reserves the right to refer to or not reference the sponsor’s content directly within this summary.
4. Deadlines and Editorial Process
– The first draft of the sponsor’s chapter must be submitted no later than the agreed deadline
– Sponsors will have five (5) working days to approve the final draft after receiving an edit request from The STA Group. Failure to sign off within this time may result in the STA Group proceeding with the publication of the final edited version.
